ABOUT CARBONADO GLOVES

Machina Carbonado gloves are designed and produced with the female hand and wrist in mind. The gloves feature a slimmer profile than most other offerings available today, thus they are not for everybody. Machina gloves are a good choice if you find other gloves to be somewhat awkward or if you prefer a more fitted feel.

These gloves also have more pliable padding than most comparable offerings, so making a fist is effortless. You’re going to want to start throwing punches the moment you get them on!

Additional standard safety features include an attached thumb lock to keep your thumb properly positioned and an extra long cuff with full wrist wrap for a firm, supportive fit. The cuff is secured by a full wraparound hook & loop collar for ease of use.

We recommend against the use of lightweight “bag gloves” for any kind of heavy hitting whatsoever. These gloves tend to use less padding and often do not protect the thumb.

FITTING FOR GLOVES

There is no exact system of measurement for fitting boxing gloves. A good fit is somewhat up to the wearer. We recommend measuring your hand, first from the tip of the middle finger to the base of your hand, then from front to back, across the knuckles.

(Consult the image below)

Keep in mind that genuine leather gloves, just like shoes, will stretch somewhat over time, so a snug fit is not a bad thing. At the same time, a glove that is too tight can become uncomfortable during training and potentially cause unnecessary fatigue.

CARE FOR CARBONADO GLOVES

It is a good idea to store your gloves in a way that they can air out. Clean the interior periodically with an anti-bacterial solution and keep the exterior dry in between workouts. Leather can crack over time so it is a good idea to treat gear with leather lotion or oil to preserve suppleness and extend its life.

“Carbonado” is the technical name for black diamond, and Carbonado gloves live up to their tough name by being fully skinned in high quality genuine leather for supple durability; stitched in nylon for strength; lined in waterproof nylon and fashioned around a triple-layered, high-density foam core for maximum protection.

Truly, they are Built to Outlast.
